Choir Registration
Fall Semester Begins September 2, 2025
Registration is now OPEN!

Thank you for your interest in joining the Rexburg Children's Choir! Our next semester begins on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, with weekly rehearsals, and will conclude on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. We will produce a Christmas music video as well as a live concert this semester. Monthly tuition is $40 per singer per month (4 months), and a one-time $80 production fee. No auditions are required to join the choir, but we do ask that students be committed to focusing their energy and attention completely during rehearsals.

Choir Expectations

Singers who join will be expected to:
-
Love to sing!
-
Commit to attend rehearsals.
-
Be on time to rehearsals.
-
Attend all rehearsals (we understand exceptions happen--please let us know if your child will miss a practice).
-
Learn their own part and practice at home. We have online resources to help with at home preparation and practice.
-
Understand that we do our best to have every child seen in video productions, but cannot guarantee it. The purpose of our videos is to inspire a global audience with our music, and accomplishing this goal may or may not include the face of every singer.
-
Have fun!

Age Requirements

Children ages 9-17 are invited to join the choir.

Rehearsal Times and Location

Rehearsals are Tuesdays, 5:15-6:30 PM at the BYU-Idaho Spori Building.

Fees

Participation each semester requires a one time $80 production fee, due at registration, as well as $40 per month tuition (4 months). Monthly tuition will be charged to the card you inputed at registration, unless you would like to coordinate other arrangements (Venmo, check, etc.)

Additionally, singers are responsible for purchasing their own choir outfits. We try to keep costuming at $60 or less per child. Costuming details will be communicated after rehearsals begin.

The First Rehearsal

Once you register to be a part of the choir, the next step is to show up to the first rehearsal. During the first rehearsal, Mr. Watson will introduce singers to the music for the production, go over choir expectations in more details, and ensure all questions are answered. Parents are encouraged to be present at this first rehearsal.
